Care Assistant, Tonypandy

The Best Connection are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants for a well established local care home based in Tonypandy. The home specialise in care for vulnerable adults with a variety of complex needs and requirements, you will be joining a team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with personal care on a daily basis including, dressing, toileting and bathing whilst respecting dignity of service users.
• Assisting with meal times, setting up trays, tables and assisting with feeding.
• Undertaking manual handling activities.
• Ensuring records are accurately kept up to date.
• Promoting independence and adopting a person centered care approach.
• Assisting with daily activities for service users with dementia and complex needs.

Requirements:

• Registered with Social Care Wales.
• Minimum 6 months experience.
• Positive and caring attitude.
• Enhanced DBS.

Shifts and Pay:

• £11.50 per hour
• ​ 12 hour shift pattern (7am - 7pm)
